In his 47 years in Wichita the Rev Mr. Kinard has seen many changes and improvements in race relations. The Rev. Mr. Kinard said that patience should be exercised more by the violent radicals.
“Patients and intelligent discussion is the Rev Mr. Kinard’s answer to those who favor violent revolution.” The Rev Mr. Kinard said “We should use intelligence in what we do. The best way on earth to solve problems is to sit down and discuss. The Bible reads: Come now and let us reason together…we are just wasting time fighting, too much fighting denotes ignorance.”
“Some want it now or bust, but you have to present your views intelligently. If I knock on your door you probably will let me in. But if I am kicking your door, you sure won’t open it!”
